We’re in need of a valuable colleague who loves working on the improvement and administration side of communications and marketing for a brand-new role in our Student Communications and Engagement team. **A bit about Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations**

In the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations, we are responsible for the core range of activities that promote and engage with our external environment and stakeholders. This includes both prospective and current students, businesses and our local community. Made up of Marketing and Communications, Student Recruitment and Outreach and External Relations teams, we work together to plan and deliver key activities that support the University’s ambitions for growth, diversity and an increased profile.

The Student Communications and Engagement team works closely with student-facing services, championing the student experience and ensuring that our students are at the heart of everything we do.

**So, what will the role involve?**

This role will include content creation and review, analysing engagement through student-facing channels and proactive communications. This includes story generation and developing networks within the University to support communications campaign planning and delivery.

You will also work closely with the Market and Customer Insights Team to engage students with student feedback mechanisms and the outcomes of surveys. You will support all activities of the Student Communications and Engagement team, as well as work with the wider Student Success, Administration and Support Services Directorate
