Due to growth & expansion, my Cannock based Automotive company are recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join their team on a full time & permanent basis. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring workshop operations & resources for the businessare fulfilled.

Duties will include but not limited to: -- Responsible for the day to day safe & efficient running of the workshop
- Making sure all employees are adhering to and following process
- Managing budgets, coordinating resources, monitoring and managing stock levels.
- Purchasing of stock to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop
- Planning and monitoring work within the workshop and allocating work accordingly
- Making sure work is completed on time to meet customer deadlines
- Ensuring work is meeting quality standards and working to best practice at all times
- Managing & monitoring Health & Safety within the workshop
- Monitoring, managing and adhering to ISO standards
- Training of staff
- Managing & monitoring attendance, sickness & holidays, as well as conducting disciplinaries & recruiting of staff.
- General administration and record keeping

Key Skills: -- Essential you have an automotive background and worked within a similar role previously
- Good understanding of MRP systems
- Full knowledge of H&S within the workplace and ISO standards
- Computer literate and good IT skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Ability to lead by example
- Flexible to work additional hours as and when the business requires to make sure output is completed.
