**Bookings Coordinator (Maternity Cover)**

**Job Type**:6 month Fixed term contract

**Location**: Stratford, London

**Salary**:£28,000 (pro rata) per annum

**About the Role**

Our client is looking to recruit a Bookings Coordinator to schedule staff, equipment and technical resources at the BT Sport broadcast studios in Stratford, East London. If you have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a head for the detailthen this role could be perfect for you.**
**Main Duties**

In this role you will coordinate staff, equipment and technical resources at BT Sport and the BT Studios. Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining shift patterns for staff to ensure that all shifts are covered in good time (arranging cover for holidays, sickness, and other absence as required).
- Engaging freelance staff, maintaining accurate records of employment, and distributing supporting production information (Call sheets etc.) as required.
- Updating the resource planning and scheduling system (Xytech MediaPulse).
- Tracking the costs associated with each production, and making sure that all costs are billed out accurately and quickly on completion.
- Supporting the company's financial processes, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, raising purchase orders, and for checking and approving invoices.
- Organizing and coordinate the hire of equipment under the guidance of our Technical Managers and Studio Managers.
- Supporting the needs of BT Sport production teams and any external clients working at the BT Studios.
- Assisting the technical team in a range of administrative tasks, including the purchase of consumables and equipment.
- Proactively resolve issues and raise concerns with the management team as required.

**Knowledge, skills and experience**
- Good communication skills with some experience of planning, or managing staff rosters.
- Self-motivated with the ability to listen and learn quickly from colleagues.
- You should be detail oriented and comfortable with financial administration. Experience of Microsoft Excel and Google Drive would be an advantage.
- Proven client focused approach - able to react tactfully and sympathetically to requests from production staff and to remain calm under pressure.
- Able to prioritize a workload and meet deadlines individually, and as part of a team.
- Previous knowledge of studio production and/or post production would be an advantage, along with an interest in sport and sports broadcasting.
- Experience of Xytech Media Pulse, ScheduALL, or a similar resource scheduling system will be highly regarded.
