We are seeking an Education and Literacy Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a client secondary school in Stretford.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement reading programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organized and inviting school library environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of literacy events, such as book fairs, author visits, and reading challenges.
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Year 7.

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • A strong background in education, with experience working with secondary school students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education, literacy support, or a related field would be advantageous.

**Salary:**

We offer a competitive salary of **£25,000-£30,000 per annum**, depending on experience, and opportunities for professional growth and development. As a valued member of our team, you will receive free child protection and prevent duty training, and all candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
