You will provide dynamic leadership across Bsol to support the outpatient and diagnostic transformation agenda; working with a range of partners and stakeholders to assist in the delivery of strategic and operational priorities set out in the NHS Long Term Plan; and support the development and implementation of Community Diagnostic Hubs.

If you join our team, you will be pivotal in helping deliver an exciting and ambitious outpatient and diagnostic transformation programme with a focus on faster diagnosis, new ways of delivering outpatient contacts and the planning and implementation of the ambitious Community Diagnostic Hub programme
- Supporting the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans to enable the ICB (Integrated Care Board) and Birmingham and Solihull ICS (Integrated Care System to achieve its objectives and key performance targets
- Support the Diagnostics Delivery & Improvement Team to ensure that strategic and operational planning and delivery processes are embedded at a programme level.
- Supporting the development of plans, ongoing monitoring and reporting of these plans ensuring governance processes are followed
- Drafting support for cases for change, service specifications, briefings, policies and protocols and other relevant documents
- Project support, supporting new users, developing new templates
- Ongoing monitoring of project action logs to support delivery of the

Diagnostic Delivery Plan
- Recording liaison with Birmingham and Solihull localities and

associated patient and public representation groups
- Maintaining diagnostic delivery plan issues log/risk register working with the ICB, primary care and providers
- Supporting diagnostic delivery and improvement reporting and monitoring for the function
- Supporting the team with coordination of planning and delivery of

regional and national returns/performance reporting
- Supporting new pathway awareness with providers and primary care
- Be a key member of the Diagnostic Delivery and Improvement team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder

management, both internally and externally
- Supporting teams to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed and delivered effectively
- Supporting and informing the targeting of resources, monitoring,

implementation and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis,
communications and stakeholder management
- Ensuring accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects for the planning and delivery function

- ICS Workstreams and Programme Management Officers (PMOs)

- NHS England - Area Team
- NHS England Specialised Services
- Voluntary organisations
- Working closely with these bodies to support the planning, ongoing monitoring and delivery of activities to support the successful delivery of the project goals
- Developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies for planning and delivery initiatives which are appropriate to the level and complexity of change within the department ensuring close relationship with stakeholder team
- Regular contact with internal and external stakeholders, sensitive, complex, contentious and confidential issues
- Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services and initiatives to provide project, information and analytical advice and expertise
- Oversee the team to develop and implement processes and systems that align to strategy
- Present verbal, written and numerical information and issues, explaining complexities, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with other Managers to share best practice.

Communication
- Provide relevant and timely specialist advice and guidance on functional and information matters
- Use a matrix style of working across the ICB and functions to support

delivery of functions
- Work with members of the team and key stakeholder to investigate the causes of any variance from plan
