**Senior Frontline Advisor - Advice Portsmouth**

**Location: Portsmouth**

**Salary: £30,117 Pro Rata**

**(£22,588 for 30 hours)**

**Contract Type: Permanent and part time**

**Essential Requirements**:
The ideal Senior Frontline Advisor will:

- Have specialist knowledge of debt, housing, welfare benefits and/or employment law
- Have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Have excellent written and spoken communication
- Have experience using Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Outlook)

**The Role**

The Senior Frontline Advisor will provide advice and support to help the people of Portsmouth to solve their problems. The Senior Frontline Advise will provide support and guidance to staff and oversees the service in the absence of the Manager. Advice is provided across all social welfare matters and the Senior Frontline Advisor is a specialist in at least one area of debt, welfare benefits, housing or Employment Law.

Advice Portsmouth is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am until 5pm, Thursdays from 1pm until 7.30pm and Fridays from 9am until 4:30pm.

**About You**

You will have a good all-round legal knowledge, together with specialist knowledge of debt, housing, welfare benefits or employment law. You will listen to your clients and recognise their strengths and skills in being able to solve their own problems. You will be positive, can do, flexible in approach and reflective in your practice.
