Applications are invited for the post of Consultant at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a replacement post for a Consultant in Ophthalmology with a specialist interest in Strabismus and/or Paediatric Ophthalmology.

The post-holder will be expected to provide a range of Ophthalmology Services including adult and paediatric ocular motility service, general paediatric ophthalmology, general adult ophthalmology and emergency eye care. They will be expected to share permanent on call arrangements with Consultant colleagues on a 1:10 basis. This cover includes telephone advice and on site examination and / or surgery for emergency cases.

The post holder will join the strabismus/paediatric ophthalmology team alongside a consultant paediatric ophthalmologist, one specialty doctor, two advanced clinical practitioners and a team of orthoptist and optometrists.
