Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Manager to join our team at a hospital in the UK. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to drive effective clinical practice and leadership. You will ensure the delivery of optimum clinical and therapeutic care, while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and contemporary initiatives to drive effective clinical practice and leadership.
- Ensure delivery of optimum clinical and therapeutic care.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
- Lead and deliver the hospital strategy alongside the Senior Management team.
- Provide operational and clinical leadership to support the Hospital Manager.
- Oversee multiple departments, including psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social work.
Requirements:
- Qualification as a Senior Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
- Significant experience in leading teams and senior practice-based work.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information and manage complex circumstances.
- Experience in partnership working with other statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Experience in setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care.
- Ability to change practice, culture, and outcomes across professional boundaries.
- Experience in setting therapeutic boundaries with patients exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- Ideally, experience working within similar service lines.
