Our Salford Labs are delighted to be recruiting for a Team Leader to support our team of Contract Managers in the BES Testing part of the business.

**What will I be doing?**

As a Team Leader you will lead, motivate and develop the Testing Support Team, to perform and achieve business results in line with company strategy. The team is responsible for quoting new business, planning engineers diaries, invoicing for work completed and dealing with day to day customer service enquiries.

This role will require you to have strong working relationships with the sales team, engineering team and other key stakeholders to ensure full support for all clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Effectively lead, coach and manage a team of Contract Managers
- Manage the performance and development of the team via agreed measures to ensure delivery against business targets and our customer service proposition
- Ensuring that any new agreed process and procedures are followed to ensure the highest level of customer service
- Build positive working relationships with other customer, sales, engineer and planning teams to support them in their role, providing guidance on customer needs and requirements
- Planning and managing your own workload, adapting to change in volume of demand
- Handle and resolve client complaint cases
- Ensure a culture where Health and Safety is the priority for the team
- Provide day to day leadership to ensure the team is motivated, capable and operating with a customer centric mindset
- Build competence leading to high levels of team self sufficiency
- Manage the performance procedures of the team, with HR support, and ensure a thorough performance management process is in place and enforced
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of relevant data capture
- Identify and develop team talent for long-term careers within the organisation
- Monitor and manage the team’s work output against target and drive productivity of each individual and the team
- Lead, train and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and support to enhance their skills and performance

- Have experience leading a multi skilled customer facing team

- Offer experience reviewing, updating and implementing new processes
- Hold strong numerical and data skills
- Offer advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Offer strong organisational and analytical skills
- Be a highly effective verbal communication skills
- Be flexible, and able to visit other customer and business sites regularly
