An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator to join HEIW within the Multi Professional Primary & Community Care Education and Training Unit to support the delivery of education and training to staff working in primary and community services. This is an exciting opportunity for the post-holder to deploy their administrative and organisational skills and experience within a forward thinking and fast paced team which contributes to the development of the Primary Care workforce across the NHS in Wales.

This post is part time 22.5 hours (0.6 FTE), flexible, with working days/hours to be agreed in line with operational need and management agreement.

This is a newly formed team sitting within the Medical Directorate. We work in a matrix model with colleagues across HEIW and all Health Boards in Wales. We follow a hybrid working model, spending 1 to 2 days per week in the office as a team to share ideas and collaborate, with the remainder of the week working in a location which suits us and our preferred way of working.

The role will report to the Unit Manager on a day-to-day basis but will support the Unit’s Programme Director, Unit Manager, Clinical Leads and Programme Support Officer; assisting the department in general administration and secretarial duties as outlined below:
**Key duties for the Administrator will include the following**:
- Provide a comprehensive admin support service including diary management, arranging meetings, service meetings including taking minutes, prepare reports, documents and other correspondence as directed
- Deal with first line enquiries and general questions
- Pass on queries and information to colleagues for more complex enquiries
- Provide a range of administrative duties including filing of correspondence
- Typing, scanning, photocopying, and ordering office supplies
- Maintain and keep databases, SharePoint infrastructure etc. up to date and provide information for reporting purposes as required
- Distributing agenda’s, papers to members of the team
- Provide clerical support, day-to-day handling, monitoring, and filtering of the diaries of others arranging and re-arranging meetings as required and resolving enquiries as required

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
