**Job Title**: League Coordinator

**Reporting to**: Centre Manager/Directors

**Responsible for**:Managing the leagues structure and all other booking streams. The position entails working a flexible shift pattern to provide cover at all times.

**Purpose of Job**: Gôl Centres is a high quality football centre with locations in Cardiff and Newport. As League Coordinator, you will manage the league structure, handle all other booking streams, ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the facilities are at their best, handle customer queries, deal with payments, ensure the Centre operates effectively and efficiently at all times and in accordance with all legislation and statutory requirements.

**Overview of Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Being responsible for the smooth, efficient and effective operation of the league structure.
- Manage all bookings and other income streams
- Ensure all receipts are received in a timely manner and are accurately accounted for
- Take responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of the Centre in conjunction with other members of staff
- Handle customer enquires promptly and professionally, ensuring the highest standard is provided to all customers and guests at the facility
- Help manage coaches, referees and activity coordinators, ensuring all activities are covered
- Support internal and external sales and marketing initiatives to ensure maximum utilisation
- To ensure sound administration procedures are followed in line with the Company Operations Manual and ensure that Company reporting procedures are followed at all times.
- To ensure the Company Health and Safety policy is fully implemented and all procedures are followed
- To undertake regular checks on all equipment and facilities to ensure repairs and hygiene are maintained
- Ensure all cash and stock reconciliation procedures within the centre are followed as dictated by Company policy
- To co-ordinate the ordering of stock/goods and services as required to ensure the branch operate smoothly and effectively
- Such other duties as may be necessary from time to time, compatible with the post. It should be noted that this list is not exhaustive and serves simply to give an overall view of the position and key responsibilities of the post.

An ideal League Coordinator should
- be extremely responsible and able to organise their fluctuating workload
- have a real interest in leisure and experience dealing with organisational and staff management
- have great people management and leadership skills
- Work well alone and as part of a team
- have excellent problem solving skills
- drive brand reputation and standards
- have a good understanding of customer care and health & safety issues
- have a strong commitment to sport and fitness
- be flexible in regards to reactive working hours
- IT/digital literate
- Experience of telephone call handling would be useful

Welsh speaking an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £19,800.00 per year
