This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant team of mortgage and protection advisors, sales administrators and mortgage apprentices in a central office just off Broad St. You will be dealing with clients directly on a daily basis and be asked to complete the full range of tasks involved with obtaining a mortgage for a client. This will mean contacting, banks, estate agents, insurance providers and other 3rd party providers. Each day is filled with plenty of variety and it's important that you can manage your time effectively to efficiently manage a large client bank through a typical 4-8 week cycle.

**Requirements**:

- Grade B (5+) in Maths and English. This is a minimum requirement. Your numeracy and literacy skills will be tested.
- A-levels are preferred but not essential for the right applicant. The apprenticeship will offer an a-level standard course.
- Degree level course in financial planning is available as a career progression path once you have shown success and ability
- Mature, intelligent, responsible individuals are required
- You must be confident and astute to deal with clients from all backgrounds including multi-millionaires, business leaders and clients young and old.
- The ability to communicate eloquently is essential. If you are not able to hold a conversation with a range of people from all backgrounds it will not be possible to hire you.
- A high level of conscientiousness is required in this role. You are expected to think for yourself and get the work done using the tools and support available to you. Your ability to do this will be tested.
- No prior experience is required due to the apprenticeship; however, you will need to demonstrate competence during a day assessment prior to hire.
- You can only succeed in this role if you are honest, trustworthy and diligent.
- This is a role in financial services, you must pass a fit an proper test and handle your own financial affairs well.

A credit search will be conducted on you. County court judgments and adverse credit history will make it difficult to employ you. You should be upfront about any issues you have
**Benefits**

**_ Pay starts at the £5.5ph _**increases to £9.50ph or more once you have completed probation.

With the bonus, this job can see you **_earning up to £25,000pa._**

Once you have proven you the ability to effectively administer mortgages, you are given the opportunity to complete CeMAP. CeMAP is a Level 3 qualification registered with Ofqual in the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). It meets the FCA examination standards for providing advice on mortgage products and is an approved qualification in the mortgage advice apprenticeship standards.
