London, United Kingdom Cultiv8 Ltd Full time

About Us:
Cultiv8 is growing. This is an exciting time to join us as we start a new project, which will continue our excellent work with young people not in education, employment or training (NEET)

Our Study Programme will give young people aged 16-18, the opportunity to develop their personalities, their skills and the opportunities ahead of them. We plan to create an innovative and exciting programme which will give young people the best chance of succeeding in further education, training or employment. Learners will undertake skills development, work placements, taster sessions and a whole range of vocational and soft skill activities, helping them to become more confident to progress to the next step.

This role is likely to be mainly centre based (London venue TBC), but will also include some remote teaching/working as well as regular travel pan-London to manage work placements, days out and enrichment activities.

Youth Leaders will support the Study Programme delivery team, by running fun activities and enrichment opportunities, which will help develop learner confidence, teamwork, motivation and communication skills. We are looking to you to inspire, invigorate and enthuse our young people so they stay committed to the programme, and get the best possible outcome. Whether that be to go on to College, an apprenticeship or employment.

This role will involve daily contact with learners, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. About You:
You will have excellent communication skills and great rapport building ability, will be highly organised with demonstrated planning and time-management skills (supported by good IT skills). It is so important to us that our tutors are engaging and motivating and really understand the challenges that our young people may face. You will be tenacious, energetic and inspirational, a well as professional to manage the demands of the contract management/funding regulations.

It would be desirable if you had teaching, youth work or IAG qualifications at minimum Level 3, or at least be willing to work towards achieving them. What is essential is previous experience within a similar role - managing activities and events with young people from different backgrounds', and the ability to manage conflict within a classroom environment.

This really is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and inspire the next generation
