We are currently recruiting for a **Senior Planner** on behalf of our client based in North Scarle, just on the outskirts of Lincoln. This is a full time, permanent position and a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business.
**Salary**: £32k - £34k per annum.
**The main duties are**:
- Aid the Head of supply chain with the Sites long-term Rough-Cut Capacity Plan, directing and guiding the business in order to achieve its mid-long term goals.
- Manage the scheduling of the forecast and stock into an efficient weekly build program
- Ensuring we operate within technical rules, constraints, and guidelines in respect of food safety. For example, the handling, timings and controls of, raw materials, and packaging
- Communicating effectively with all levels of management and the key sales, technical, engineering and operational sides of the business.
- Analyzing key data to constantly review and advise on longer term capacity and material constraints - Controlling both raw, packaging and finished goods stocks to the business capacity
- Responsible for ensuring all data in the planning systems is accurate and up to date, to include all base data, throughput's and BOM’s.
- Regularly report on KPIs, initiating and delivering actions within agreed time frames
- Further develop and maintain the factory production plan, supporting the team both in their development and cover for holidays and absence.
- Support the Head of Supply Chain, Site and Business in its long-term strategic goals around planning Systems, ways of working and cost reduction - and the Cranswick “Roadmap to Success”
- Planning and supply chain experience
- Advanced Excel knowledge - An understanding of macros and calculation logic.
- The ability to manage and develop teams.
- A proactive and challenge mindset with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills (In both influencing and negotiation)
**Salary**: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Scarle: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
