Norwich, United Kingdom Norfolk County Council Full time

**Four posts | fixed term contracts for two years | 37 hours per week | £24,496 to £26,845 per annum (Grade F) | Norwich (hybrid working)**

A new opportunity has arisen for Commissioning Coordinators to join the Integrated Commissioning Team to carry out a project to review and analyse children and young people’s education and social care provision. Commissioning Coordinators will carry out audits of individual service provision, analyse data and generate reports with key findings.

Where children and young people in Norfolk with specialist or complex needs require additional support, this can be delivered in-house, or it can be sourced and commissioned externally. When that happens, we want to ensure that children and young people get the best support possible, achieve the best outcomes and get the best value out of public money.
- An ability to analyse data, and produce reports
- An organised and methodical approach to projects and an eye for detail
- Effective communication skills
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Experience in special educational needs and disability (SEND), or social care

Main duties:

- Liaise with and develop good working relationships with external education and social care providers, and teams within Children’s Services
- Collect data and information to review our portfolio of providers and current placements to ensure effective planning and use of resources.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of residential and SEND placements, including the package contents and cost breakdown. Cross reference data with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and information from various teams
- Analyse data and produce reports for multiple stakeholders

Our team and work culture are supportive - flexible hybrid working is a key feature of this role. We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our different workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Flexibility is built into the way we work. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. As a result, it is important that you have good broadband connectivity if working from home.

These are some benefits you can enjoy by working for Norfolk County Council:

- Competitive salary
- Generous holiday entitlement with the ability to buy and sell leave
- Health and Wellbeing services including fast-track physiotherapy and a free counselling service
- Flexible working opportunities including flexi-time, part time, remote and hybrid working - dependent on your job role and business need.
- Financial benefits such as:

- ‘ Norfolk Rewards’ our employee discount programme which helps you save money on almost anything, from everyday groceries and clothes, to holidays, new technology, gym membership, trips to the cinema and days out.
- A Blue Light card for Fire Service and Social Care Workers
- Relocation expenses paid upfront (where applicable)
- An advance of your expenses if you travel for work
- Local Government Pension Scheme with generous employer contribution, life assurance, death in service payments and dependants’ pensions.
- A payment if you refer someone you know to a hard to fill job.
- Tax efficient ways of getting extra pension, new bikes and electric cars.
