These roles are ideal for determined and hardworking nurses who possess a minimum of two years’ working as a bedside registered nurse in a Level 3 NICU and possess a valid NMC certificate.

**Key Responsibilities**

We ensure all our nurses receive the best possible treatment and care. Consequently, we expect our nurses to deliver the same standard of service for our clients as we do for them.

As a Neonatal Nurse working for Nutrix Personnel, your main responsibility will be to deliver exceptional care and support for newborn babies who are born prematurely or with a harmful sickness. As part of this responsibility, you will be required to perform a number of different tasks such as:

- Assessing and observing the conditions of the newborn babies
- Provide comprehensive reports to doctors and other medical staff
- Preparing and checking medications
- Recording and documenting observations such as temperature, pulse and respiration rates
- Communicate and support the parents and carers
- Initiating appropriate basic resuscitation in an emergency

**Essential requirements**
- A minimum of two years’ experience having worked in a similar role
- Have experience or knowledge of neonatal issues
- Must be a registered children’s nurse, possessing a current and active NMC pin number
- The completion of a full enhanced DBS check (Disclosure Baring service)
- Have the legal right to work in the UK

**Desirable skills**
- An understanding of working with newborn babies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise accordingly
- Great observational skills

**Working hours and benefits**

Our current Registered Neonatal Nursing roles in the West Midlands pay a salary between £45 - £55 per hour.

Our roles cover day and night shifts, from Monday all the way to Sunday, with flexible working hours available to our workers. Night shifts, weekends and bank holidays are all paying premium rates.
