Research Fellow in Fetal Medicine

Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce a new Clinical Research Fellowship in association with the University of Liverpool.
The Fellowship is a full-time research/Fetal medicine network development post under the supervision of Professor Asma Khalil, Professor of Fetal Medicine and Dr Andrew Sharp, Senior Lecturer. It includes a clinical component. Clinical supervision will be the responsibility of the RCOG tutors.
**Key aspects of the role include**:
two days a week dedicated to Fetal Medicine and Surgery
work with the North West Network to develop and support the Fetal Medicine network meetings and MDT
**The aspects of the research component includes**:
developing a working knowledge of the regulatory, governance and ethical frameworks relevant to clinical studies in
Support the research activity in the Fetal Medicine Unit
contributing to the set-up and conduct of NIHR portfolio studies including medical assessment of eligibility, consent and data
The department runs a full shift rota, working across obstetrics and Gynaecology, including evening, weekends and nights.
