**Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Sales who will play an important role in growing the Wescom Group marine electronics business aligned to the 5-year business plan. The role is responsible for all external and internal sales and business development activities in all sectors.

Working closely with the OEM MD’s (MRT and Eflare) reporting to the VP Marine sales the role will be focussed on growing the Wescom Group electronics business working with external customers, channel partners and internal stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the order intake and revenue budget for MRT and Eflare.
- Oversee the business development activities and delivery of new customer growth plans.
- Grow the sMRT and Eflare distribution network both in the direct channel with the OEM’s and also within the regional teams.
- Define key win themes to win new customers in key market sectors and deliver the 5 year business plan in conjunction with the Wescom Group buiness structure.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the wider Wescom Group to deliver sustainable growth and excellent customer service.
- Report regularly to the business current and future pipeline to VP Marine Sales and MD’s of MRT and Eflare.
- Conduct and report regular competitor analysis.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Minimum 8 years marine sales experience (Direct sales and Channel sales).
- Previous relevant experience within the marine industry essential.
- Knowledge of UK, EU and International standards, compliance, and regulations.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to travel when required including overseas.
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter who is able to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and able to use initiative.
- Skilled at building relationships and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyse complex data to identify market trends and customers’ behaviour.
