**Transport Planner**

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Planning, organising, and coordinating transport activities
- Informing drivers or subcontractors about transport details (loading/unloading goods etc.)
- Verifying/checking drivers activity truck position
- Using in house transport management system to monitor and update the progress of each transport

The role involves interaction with drivers and colleagues from our offices in both the UK and Europe. You will need to be able to multitask and be accurate in verifying, informing, and providing operational solutions

Hours of work are 45 hours per week over 5 shifts Monday to Friday. Usual hours are 08:30 to 17:30hrs

- Ability to communicate effectively with internal & external parties
- Strong IT skills
- Planning skills
- Professional telephone manner with good level of customer service
