Mega Trucking Company Ltd, was founded in 1985, when the Ewals group first required specialised “own wheels” transport in the UK. Today we operate 70 trucks and over 100 drivers from 2 locations, with significant plans for expansion.

We have sister companies throughout Europe, cumulatively we own circa 600 trucks and employ over 1000 drivers.

**Trainee Transport Planner**

At Mega Trucking, we are passionate about training, developing, and growing all our people. You will receive great on-the-job training as well as some structured training to ensure that you succeed.

**Duties (to include but are not limited to)**:

- Planning, organising, and coordinating transport activities
- Informing drivers or subcontractors about transport details (loading/unloading goods etc.)
- Verifying/checking drivers activity truck position
- Using in house transport management system to monitor and update the progress of each transport

**Person Specification**:

- Office experience
- Organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal & external parties
- Strong IT skills
- Planning skills
- Accuracy skills
- Multitasking skills
- Professional telephone manner with good level of customer service
