** Long-term opportunity, working full-time
** SEN Classroom Assistant role, starting immediately
** £400 - £450 per week
The SEN Classroom Assistant:
To be eligible for this SEN Classroom Assistant role, you must have a good understanding of a wide range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, complex learning difficulties, Down’s Syndrome, global learning delay and OCD. You should be an excellent communicatorwith a strong ability to build a good rapport with your pupils and support their needs effectively. You should be confident working across the national curriculum and differentiating work to sufficiently challenge the pupils you are working with based on theirlevel of ability.
The SEN Classroom Assistant Role:
As an SEN Classroom Assistant, you will primarily be providing 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with high needs SEN. There is no personal care involved, however the position is demanding and requires a strong SEN Classroom Assistant with a high degree of patienceand resilience. You will also be supporting the teaching staff with classroom management and supporting learning for all pupils in the class.
