To succeed in this role you will need:

- Evidence of success as part of a sales or marketing team
- Proven ability to close sales orders over the phone (preferred)
- Experience working with public sector clients in a client-facing role
- Customer-focused, with excellent customer service skills
- Experience with a modern CRM system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong outbound B2B telephone sales skills
- Highly organised, and able to maintain a calm, professional, analytical disposition in a stressful environment

Responsibilities include:

- You will work with the client's product team and marketing colleagues, to independently and proactively hunt for new opportunities associated with the Circle solution.
- You will develop and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts to find, build, manage, and close sales opportunities on a consistent basis
- You will have a clearly documented Circle sales, product, and win strategy for your account base
- You will create, maintain and implement a balanced contact and visit plan to nurture existing clients and generate new prospects.
- You will document critical sales activities and conversations in a professional and timely manner
- You will support our bid management team in preparing tender responses, including win and pricing strategies
- You will meet or exceed each quarter's sales quota and assist your line manager in achieving the client's quota
- You will pursue and close new business, building trust, loyalty, and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- You will lead and coordinate customer web-based presentations, including product demonstrations and prepare and submit proposals
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of your activities, pipeline, and forecasts in our CRM system (we use Salesforce)
- You will build a qualified opportunity pipeline that has the profile of close dates and percentage likelihoods necessary to support your bookings quota
- You will maintain details of your opportunity pipeline in Salesforce so that it provides an up-to-date view of your activities and prospects
- You will maintain an in-depth awareness of our products, markets, and industry trends. You should also liaise with the product management team to identify new product initiatives.
