I am looking for an Ecologist to join an exciting team in Derby This role is with a very reputable consultancy are primarily concerned with identifying, managing and mitigating for protected species and habitats. They are a team of qualified and experiencedecologists who offer a wide range of specialist ecological advice across the UK This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team.

What are the Responsibilities?
- You will carry out extended phase 1 habitat surveys.
- You will be involved in a range of species surveys such as great crested newts, bats, reptiles, badgers and birds.
- You will write reports in relation to PEA, EcIA and species survey reports.

What are the Requirements?
- A degree in a Ecology or a relevant discipline.
- Experience working within a consultancy.
- You will hold a protected species license (preferably bat).
- Experience in performing a range of ecological surveys to identify ecological constraints.
- Brilliant report writing skills.
- Membership of CIEEM.
