***Strategic Ecologist**

Location: Derby

Hybrid working between the office and remotely is acceptable.

There will be travel required to sites in the eastern region, so a full, clean driving licence is essential.

**Are you an experienced and enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge?**

We have an exciting opportunity for three Strategic Ecologists to join our friendly team.

The Wildlife Trusts Consultancies (WTCs) have been engaged by Network Rail to deliver an extensive Biodiversity Plan throughout their Eastern Region.

The Strategic Ecologists will contribute to the delivery of the Biodiversity Plan through creating a Biodiversity Inventory of Network Rail Eastern Region. They will then use this information to produce Route Biodiversity Action Plans (RBAP) and Habitat Management Plans (HMP). These documents will detail how the organisation will manage their asset to increase biodiversity.

**Let’s be honest, not all ecological consultancies are the same.** We want to do the very best for nature and ALL of our profits are offered as Profit with Purpose to our respective Wildlife Trusts to support conservation directly on the ground. We also want to do the best for you. We prioritise your work home life balance by offering flexible working arrangements, and we commit to developing you professionally through our Personal Development programme.
