Arriva North East and Yorkshire is looking to engage passionate and experienced Scheduler to join their team in Wakefield. The purpose of this role is to ensure that services are Scheduled in a legal, punctual, reliable and cost-effective manner with structured deadlines. To provide accurate information on scheduling, regarding cost, efficiencies, statistics, and implementation of planned services changes.

Compilation of schedules in line with the relevant Domestic & EU Driver regulations, along with the working time directives for:

- Routes
- Bus workings
- Timetables
- Duties
- Rosters
- Registrations

Maintaining
- Tender database
- Naptan Bus stop database

Delivering
- Efficient, cost-effective schedules within specified time frames
- Reliability
- Statistical information
- Special projects
- Key performance indicators
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Power point and Teams (preferred but not essential)
- Problem solving
- Analytical
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Accuracy
- Driving license / learning to drive
