**TECHNICAL SALES & PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR**

£28,000

Due to the addition of a sub-contract manufacturing business to our core business we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Technical Sales & Purchasing Administrator to join our dynamic team.

The business is well respected within its specialist market, with a long history of bringing quality products to market. The new sub
- contract division has grown from 2 people to 5 in just over a year. As a result, it requires a dedicated administrator to look after customer service and purchasing of components for it. Coupled with backing up the customer service function of our core business, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on hard work, is hands on and enjoys making an impact through their work.

**Key Responsibilities**:
First point of contact for our sub-contract division, therefore a professional, polite, friendly, helpful attitude is a must.

Driving the company CRM platform in conjunction with marketing and working closely with the external sales teams to ensure all client records are accurate and kept up to date.

Producing sales reports for circulation to the external sales team and management.

Generation of customer quotations.

Purchasing of components such as connectors, crimps, cables and led components. Capable of looking at these components and sourcing alternates where the specified parts are not readily available/

Excellent supplier relationship - happy to pick up a phone rather than rely on computer driven MRP.

Happy to handle physical stock to ensure that we meet our customers lead time expectations.

Liaising with other departments and supporting them as necessary.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience of working within the B2B manufacturing / industrial sector.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service across all platforms.
- Strong data input experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer literate - experience in using Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Good time management and ability to work to deadlines.
