Head of Quality Improvement

The role will work with the management team and is responsible for influencing the development and leading the delivery of the quality and operational improvement strategy linked to integration within, and outside of the all Adult Mental Health directorate.

They will be expert in the monitoring of clinical and operational outcomes of services and will understand how to find unwanted variances in clinical practice and clinical outcomes for patients.

They will use this knowledge to work with clinical teams where a differentiation is demonstrated, working with that clinical team to understand immediate and longer-term issues which need support to resolve. They will be the directorate champion for evidence-based and best practice working, enabling and facilitating sharing of the same across teams within the directorate.
