We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our bank of agency workers working on both preplanned and emergency support packages in a rewarding role, providing care and support to children in residential settings across Northumberland, Tyneside, Durham and Teesside.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an agency that supports and cares for its workers, and provides flexibility for you to work when you want to.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Support children in their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
- Promote the emotional well-being and development of children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to create and implement care plans for each child.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the care and progress of children.

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in residential services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleepovers.

Pay for these roles start from £11.50 per hour, with varying and enhanced rates of up to £17.39 per hour on nights and weekends, and double time over bank and public holidays.

Expected hours: 1 - 100 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS (preferred)
