Senior Care Worker

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team. As a Senior Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in a care home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and contribute to their overall well-being.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Create and implement care plans tailored to individual residents' needs
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Supervise and support other care staff, providing guidance and leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care
**Requirements**:
- MUST HAVE A VALID PRACTICAL MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION TRAINING CERTIFICATE
- MUST HAVE VALID HEALTHCARE TRAINING CERTIFICATES
- MUST HAVE A VALID ENHANCED DBS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes
- Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the drive to motivate others
**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
