**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- Using audio and copy typing skills, to produce correspondence and reports as required for the Consultant Forensic Psychiatrists and MDT.
- Organising and attending meetings, preparing agendas, ensuring all appropriate arrangements have been made prior to meetings, including collation and distribution of any relevant papers, taking minutes and ensuring their timely distribution.
- Arrange meetings and appointments and ensure diaries are efficiently maintained and
- coordinated for the multidisciplinary team.
- Entering patient information into Care Notes ensuring the information is entered accurately and in a timely manner. This includes updating demographic information, uploading correspondence, creating new episode/spells as need.
- Work with, and support, other forensic administrators to maintain a comprehensive and
- equitable administrative service. To provide cover for other administrators in times of absence.
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Advanced admin experience
- Previous NHS experience (desirable)
- NHS System Knowledge
- Rio (desirable)
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
