Job Role: NetworkRail - Safety Critical Trainer

Location: London, Stratford, may be required to travel occasionally

Pay: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependable on Experience and Competencies)

Shift and Schedule: Monday - Friday, 09.00am - 17.00pm (16.30pm Finish on Friday’s), may be required to work on weekends and evenings occasionally

Due to continuing expansion at ARC, we are looking for an experienced and qualified **NSAR Assured Rail Trainer & Assessor. **We have vacancies for full-time, permanent and part-time roles at our London training centre, with a competitive salary for this position, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

**Mandatory Qualification and Experience Requirements;**

To be considered for the role of Safety Critical Trainer & Assessor you will need to meet the minimum:

- Hold a Level 3 training/teaching or equivalent recognized qualification
- Approved NSAR assured trainer
- Able to deliver a minimum of Personal Track Safety (PTS) AC and DCCR competencies
- Flexible with working hours to meet industry needs, including nights and weekends where required
- Based in East London, but willing to occasionally travel nationally, throughout the UK to meet industry needs, including nights and weekends, only where required
- Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience Requirements;**

As a Trainer & Assessor for ARC Rail, you will already ideally hold additional capabilities or willing to upskill (if required by ARC) to deliver competent training for;
- Non-accredited in-house qualifications including - Manual Handling, 1st Aid and Small Tools
- Safety Critical and Track Maintenance qualifications including - Track Induction, COSS, etc.
- Safety Critical Assessment qualifications including - COSS, ES, etc.

**Main responsibilities for position will include but is not limited to;**
- Delivering high-quality training courses
- Ensuring the courses you deliver are compliant, in-line with NSAR standards and regulations
- Build and maintain learner relationships, to achieve positive training outcomes and feedback
- Communicate effectively with management and office staff, providing participant and training course updates as and when required

Keep up to date with the Rail Industry in general and any advances in Training and Assessment development approaches to ensure the provision of a “best practice” service to clients.
