Are you good at teamwork with an approachable and friendly manner, looking towards helping lead a team? If so we are looking for enthusiastic and committed staff to work within the Radiotherapy Department.

The Radiotherapy Department is based in the Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre (BHOC), part of the Bristol Cancer Institute & the Bristol Haematology Unit. The Radiotherapy Department is a large department, treating patients from the local area as well as providing some highly specialised services across the South West including Paediatric treatments.

Working alongside both other administrative staff and clinical staff, If you are able to use your own initiative and provide an efficient and effective administration and clerical service, then we want to hear from you.
- To ensure that Radiotherapy appointments are made and booked according to departmental protocols in a timely manner to ensure that patients attend for planning and courses of treatment.
- You should have excellent communication skills and show a caring and professional manner towards patients, relatives, carers and colleagues.
- You will need excellent IT and literacy skills, operational flexibility and have a have a keen eye for detail.
- Performing duties such as ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing annual leave and sickness within the administration team.
