We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Improvement lead within the Medical Specialties Division at University College London Hospitals to cover a period of 12 months. This post will be responsible for ensuring services are efficiently and effectively run within the Division. You will support the General Management team in the delivery of all performance and business elements along with key initiatives within the directorate.

This is a fantastic development opportunity for staff looking to gain senior service level management. You must be a quick learner, be able to demonstrate relevant experience and must be strongly orientated towards service improvement. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of team building, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to manipulate and interpret data. Confident and calm under pressure, you will be able to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively with other members of the Clinical and Divisional management team.

You will support the Divisional Management team in a range of divisional projects and initiatives. You will assist the development of bids and business cases for the Division and the delivery of specific critical service development projects across the Division.

**The Medical Specialties Division is diverse and covers**: Elderly Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Nephrology, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Outpatients and the Patient booking team. The Division runs inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services for local, regional and national patients.

The position is a valued member of the central management and operational team within the Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain relevant experience and to develop you for a more senior role in the future.
