We are looking for caring and professional support staff to join our growing team providing support in the community of Yate and surrounding areas. We work with many adult clients, some with learning disabilities, mental health needs, some with physical disabilities. As we work across the South Gloucestershire area own transport is essential but the use of a company car is available (Subject to condition's).
We have hours / shifts days to suit each person please do not be put off by some of the advert we can assist everyone with hours.
As a Community Outreach Support Worker, we would like you to have previous experience including:
- A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent Personal presentation standards
- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
- Good standard of English both verbal and written.
Your responsibilities will include, supporting individuals to manage and maintain their physical and mental health needs. Offering practical support around daily living tasks including bill management, cooking and food shopping. You will also be helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals. Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community. Develop home making skills and personal chores.
