**Part-Time Diesel Fitter/Mechanic (Trailer & Plant)**

**Do you enjoy keeping things running smoothly? Are you a semi-retired diesel fitter/mechanic looking to stay active?**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Diesel Fitter/Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of diesel-powered equipment, including:

- **High Pressure Pumps & Trailers**: Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing high-pressure pumps and associated trailers.
- **General Small Plant**: Maintaining and repairing a range of smaller petrol-powered equipment used on-site.

This is a perfect opportunity for a self-motivated and reliable individual. The part-time hours offer flexibility, making this role ideal for a semi-retired mechanic looking to utilise their expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair faults in high-pressure pumps and trailers.
- Conduct routine maintenance on pumps and trailers to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various diesel-powered plant equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a qualified Diesel Fitter/Mechanic.
- Experience working with high-pressure pumps and trailers (a plus).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines (specifically John Deere & Cummins) and their associated systems.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license (HGV a plus).
