Swift are seeking a skilled Production Fitter to join our clients expanding team. This position reports directly to the Workshop Manager.

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday, 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Pay - £14.00 - £16.00 DOE OT paid at time and a half

Position Overview: Dynamic, quality-focused individuals who thrive in a positive and proactive team environment. The role of a Production Fitter is crucial to our clients final fitting team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install hydraulic cylinders, ensuring all measurements match engineering drawings to meet high manufacturing standards.

* Perform general mechanical engineering assembly and fitting.

* Identify and resolve faults, replace hydraulic cylinders, and conduct pressure tests.

* Perform additional tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager.

Skills and Requirements:

* A minimum of 3 years of experience with hydraulics - Essential.

* Proven assembly/fitting experience - Essential.

* Previous experience in an engineering environment - Essential.

* Proficient in using various hand tools related to hydraulics and general fitting.

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings - Essential.
