**The role**

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for fundraising activities across Centre56. Your role will include distributing and collecting collection boxes; organising community events like fun-days and volunteering events; and increasing personal donations through activities such as sponsored events, salary giving, and regular monthly giving.

Working closely with the Director of Housing Management and the Centre56 Service Manager, you will be identifying and delivering fundraising activity with the aim to provide funding for the continued delivery of service by the charity.

This role would be perfectly suited for someone who is interested in working within the charity sector and has a “can-do” approach to fundraising.

- You will have a good working knowledge or experience of fundraising and/or the domestic abuse/charity sector.
- You will be at ease and working well with the public and partners from different backgrounds.
- You will show initiative and have a solutions-focused approach in what is often a changing working environment.
- You will be positive and creative when delivering fundraising activities.

Centre 56 is a registered charity in Liverpool which provides childcare, information and support for children, parents and carers who have suffered or are at risk of domestic abuse or a crisis situation. We enable families to rebuild their lives and achieve aspirations.
