Our fundraising team is essential to ensuring we can continue to grow, develop and improve the work that we do. Zoe's Place is a friendly, vibrant and positive place to work.

**Overall aim of the role**

Working with the fundraising team, provide outstanding administrative support; helping to make visitors and callers receive an excellent first experience of Zoe’s Place, helping to ensure fundraising activities are delivered smoothly and efficiently, and ensuring donors and supporters are thanked and supported in a professional and timely manner.

**Key responsibilities of the role**
- Manage the day-to-day administrative duties within the fundraising team.
- Ensure accurate and consistent maintenance of records on the Donorflex database.
- Ensure the process for collecting and distributing collection tins is efficient and well-managed.
- Network with Fundraising Administrators in Coventry and Middlesbrough Hospices to share best practice and to work towards closely aligned systems and processes.
- Deputise for some responsibilities of the Finance Administrator in their absence.
- Managing the supply of consumables, printed materials, collection tins etc.
- Take receipt of donations in cash, cheque and over the telephone.
- Process, log and disseminate all incoming and outgoing post as appropriate.
- Any other reasonable tasks as required by the Head of Fundraising or members of the Senior Management Team.

- To comply with all Hospice policies, including but not limited to Data Management and Security, Safeguarding, Confidentiality and Health & Safety.

- The postholder will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends to support fundraising events and activities.

**Person Specification - Knowledge and Experience**
- Experience of delivering administrative duties in a busy office environment.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in IT skills including Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage a diverse range of duties and conflicting priorities.
- Able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working autonomously and proactively, alongside being a strong team player.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels.
