**The role**

Are you someone who wants to help teams transform the way they do things? As an Opencast Software product manager, you’ll bring your understanding of agile practices and concepts to some of our major clients. You’ll be open minded, inquisitive, and happyto learn new technologies.

**What you’ll do within our teams**
- Contribute to ways of working discussions to help deliver the right product. This also promotes a culture of continuous improvement in your team.
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical people. You’ll adjust your language to suit.
- Own the elaboration, valuation and upkeep of user stories.
- Help promote an environment of collaboration, where we treasure values like T-shaping.
- Review your colleagues’ work positively and constructively.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Act as an ambassador for Opencast. You’ll lead by example and promote our approach to product delivery.

**You’ll suit this role if you**:

- are already a user-focused?product manager?or want to move from a senior product owner role
- have a deep and thorough knowledge of agile processes and principles
- actively collaborate with?technical teams and guide stakeholders to develop and agree onaproduct vision and roadmap to deliver the client’s strategic outcomes
- are experienced in translating product roadmaps into backlogs to prioritise delivery of the best value outcomes
- have excellent communication andrelationship managementskills
- can emphasise with andbalance the needs of senior stakeholders

**Salary**

Based upon individual skill / experience level, against our competency framework:

- Consultant: £48,000 - £56,000
- Senior consultant: £57,000 - £75,000
- Lead consultant: £76,000 - £95,000

**Where you’ll work**

At Opencast we trust our people to make the right decisions. You may work remotely from home or, depending on your project, you may be required to occasionally work at a client site or your nearest Opencast office.
