**Main Purpose of Role**:
The Senior Product Owner role provides vision, coordination and commercial focus to our development efforts. Ultimately, the role is accountable for ensuring our Dayforce product is maintained, supported and enhanced in line with business demand.

This is a key role within IVC Evidensia’s Finance Systems team responsible for delivering the Dayforce and Concur roadmap, managing the support teams and development with our third party supplier. You will be working closely with our HR and Finance Operations, Finance Business Teams, Project teams and Infrastructure, Business Systems, Service Operations, Security.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the HR, Finance and Project teams, the Senior Product Owner is accountable for representing their requirements in the Dayforce delivery roadmap and maintaining supportable versions of the product.
- The Senior Product Owner ensures that, with the support of Business Analysts, ideas appropriately translate into planned work is well structured, technically viable, appropriately prioritised and delivered in a way that aligns with our over-arching technical and business strategy.
- With Dayforce being a cloud based product the Senior Product Owner will manage the regular releases ensuring that they are received appropriately, analysed with impacted parties and tested prior to releasing to live. The senior product owner will need to be proactively involved with Ceridian and their user groups to influence future product development.
- You'll work closely with HR process owners, Finance and Payroll teams make sure requirements are clearly understood and prioritised within the product roadmap.
- You'll be responsible for release management ensuring any new functionality or interfaces are managed through a defined release process ensuring integrity of the data and systems.
- You will also be promoting the functionality within the systems ensuring best practice is maintained where possible and be proactively engaged in process improvements to support this.
- You will work closely with the service teams to ensure the product is managed appropriately within the service framework.
- The Senior Product Owner is accountable for the 2nd line delivery of technical support services for Dayforce and Concur meeting agreed SLAs delivering an efficient and cost-effective service. They will also be responsible for ensuring the product meets audit requirements and processes are in place and maintained to support this.
- The Senior product owner will be working closely with the HR People and Process global program, to support successful delivery and ensure integrity of the system.
- This is a managerial role with direct responsibility for the support team

**Competencies**:

- Experienced in Product Ownership and management.
- Experience in managing teams within both the development and support environment.
- Proven ability in translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for change (or statements of work) and delivering these through third parties.
- Confident in developing and maintaining roadmaps of change, align not just to today’s needs but also to IVC Evidensia’s strategic vision.
- Managing system roadmaps by (1) ensuring that suppliers take account of IVC Evidensia’s future requirements in their planning and (2) championing opportunities presented by the supplier’s own strategy.
