Overview:
We're looking for a talented Product Owner to join us at Expleo Technology on either a contractor or permanent basis.

We want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience working in the Defence sectors and therefore needs to be eligible for SC clearance.

**Responsibilities**:

- As the Product Owner you will be primarily responsible for working in a client facing role across a range of sectors focused on defining and implementing projects for large or complex projects.
- You will be supporting us on a client transformation project within the Defence sector.
- Taking the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
- Providing vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirement
- Ensuring that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Planning and prioritizing product feature backlog and development for the product
- Defining product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Providing backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Working closely with product management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- eading the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Providing an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
- Researching and analyzing the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- A formal certification as Product Owner
- A certified scrum professional or a similar Agile qualification

**Skills**:

- The ability to communicate engagement progress and burn-down, risks and complex concepts to client and Expleo alike
- The ability to contribute to the creation of agreeable mitigation approaches for removing team blockers and risk resolution
- The ability to influence and negotiate with client stakeholders and senior leadership teams
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Team management skills - experience in leading multiple teams in Agile software delivery approaches

**Experience**:

- Working directly in Scrum Master capacity
- Risk management and change management
- Project management software
- Working as a Product Owner
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- An MA in computer science, engineering or similar relevant field
