**George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust** is looking to appoint two Associate Non-Executive Directors (ANEDs) with different recruitment criteria to enhance the Board.
One post requires a financial qualification or extensive financial experience in a large complex organisation

This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise to strengthen and challenge on the Board, making a positive difference to the lives of people experiencing the services provided by George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.
The ANED role is used successfully in the NHS to support Board succession strategy and achieving a balance of Board level skills. ANEDs cannot participate in any formal vote at Board.
You may also be considered for appointment as a Non-executive director of the Board in future, should a vacancy arise.
We believe that to make the best possible decisions, NHS boards need people with a mix of skills and experience. We are looking for people from a range of backgrounds who understand the needs and priorities of their local communities and can hold the confidence of patients and the public.
**Main duties of the job**
ANEDs will work alongside non-executives and executive directors as a non-voting member of the Board. Non-executive directors share responsibility with the other directors for the decisions made by the Board and for success of the organisation in leading the local improvement of healthcare services for patients.

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is a member of an NHS Foundation Group with South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust and the Wye Valley NHS Trust.
The hub of the Trust is located on the outskirts of Nuneaton. Services cover a large footprint including North Warwickshire, South West Leicestershire, and North Coventry. A wide range of community services is also delivered across Coventry, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
