t our depot we will make over 1,500 deliveries to our customers each week, we have a number of teams who work together to deliver service excellence to our customers every day. We are seeking a Transport Administrator to assist the Transport Manager and Transport Team Managers in ensuring that the department runs smoothly with all administration effectively completed.

At Bidfood Harlow, we recognise that the quality of our Transport team is instrumental to our success. This is an office-based role in which the Transport Administrator needs to ensure that all administrative duties are completed and a professional customer service is provided.

You will be the primary point of contact for all transport issues arising, ensuring that all administrative duties are actioned and managed. You will be aware of the current list of TLC customers and ensure that they are managed effectively throughout the delivery or order process in order to improve the quality of service to these customers.

To be successful in this role you will need to have similar experience of working in an administrative role within a busy transport department, particularly within the fast-moving food distribution industry. You will be someone with excellent communication and organisation skills as well as being computer literate and confident with entering data onto spreadsheets with a good understanding of Microsoft Office programs. You will need to be able to confidently speak with customers and staff, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and most of all a great team player.- The shift pattern will be on a 2 week rotation with week 1 starting at 07:00 and finishing at 16:00, and week 2 starting at 10:00 and 19:00.**This is a fixed term post for maternity cover**
