We are currently looking for a new Accounts Assistant to join our fast-growing Export business.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Creating and allocating sales invoices
- Raising and entering credit notes
- Checking supplier statements
- Posting purchases invoices
- Posting expenses invoices
- Posting petty cash
- Sending statements of accounts to customer
- Monthly VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat returns
- Monthly journals
- Accruals and prepayments
- Fixed assets
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Chasing payments from local customers

**Experience/Skills**
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good verbal and written communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload with and without supervision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Precise and process orientated
- Previous Accounts experience preferred but not essential

Salary - £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
