Energy Improvement Consultant

_Borthwick Group_ is a company based in the North East, operating across the UK, providing energy saving initiatives to customers in need of assistance under ECO4 funding. We use a whole home approach to improve the energy efficiency of the home, through the use of innovative technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Photovoltaics, Gas Boilers, and more.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Funding Advisor to join our head office team. This role would be the ideal fit for individuals looking to expand their professional career into the energy sector. We will provide full training, so you’ll be learning the ins and outs of energy saving, while helping customers in need.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contacting applicants to the scheme, determining their eligibility for funding under the ECO4, and booking them in for a survey
- Advising customers on energy saving, efficiency, and how they can reduce their household bills
- Planning our surveyors routes, and keeping in contact with the surveyors to resolve any issues should they arise
- Making sure all relevant documentation has been provided by the customer pre-survey
- Evaluating Energy Performance certificates, and property types and other evidence to determine eligibility of applicants

What we need from you:

- A bright, bubbly personality - we want to see the real you
- Previous experience in a customer service/sales based role, preferably a call centre background
- An organised, can do attitude
- Experience working with MS Office/Google Sheets or similar
