**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
NWCare is one of the leading domiciliary care providers in the province and we are recruiting an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our IT team as a **Systems Administrator**.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The role incorporates the below responsibilities, but will also require adapting to the changing requirements of the business:

- First line system support
- General system maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving software issues when they arise
- Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely
- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the system
- Providing technical support, when requested
- Carry out induction training with staff on all systems, teams, zoom etc.
- Dissipate updates on systems to relevant staff
- To take on and manage other internal projects and tasks as required

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE***:
Must be self-motivated and driven, with a positive can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Focused, with a desire to take ownership of the role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and prioritising skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with colleagues
- Problem-solving skills

**ESSENTIAL**:
2 years’ office experience

Keen eye for detail

Competent IT skills

Familiarity with database systems

Strong knowledge of computer software

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365

Ability to prioritise workloads with critical deadlines

Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

**DESIRABLE**:

- IT qualification
