We are The Bartlett, UCL’s global faculty of the built environment. Individually, our schools and sections lead their fields. In partnership, they develop new responses to pressing world issues. **About the role**:
The **Research, Impact, Policy and Engagement (RIPE)** team develops, promotes, and shapes the Bartlett’s research, innovation and engagement environment. We specialise in tailored individual and team support across career levels, funding expertise, insightful data analysis, partnership development and evaluation knowledge. We provide expertise for the development of Faculty and UCL research systems and processes, support the financial stability of our research environment, and contribute to UCL and sector consultations. We work across the Faculty to share experiences, best practices, and resources.

Thie Research and Impact Administrator will deliver high-level support to the Faculty RIPE team’s provision, in particular by taking administrative responsibility for research pre-and post-award processes, the management and delivery of research and impact events, and project coordination for Faculty initiatives.

Close collaboration with all departments within the Faculty is vital, as is with academic and professional services colleagues. The Research and Impact Administrator will take a continuous improvement approach to processes in the Faculty, embedding best practice and contributing tof the strategic work of the RIPE team. The role holder will work with the RIPE team and Faculty/Departmental teams to identify where research and impact provision is needed, and provide a responsive and flexible service.

**About you**:
The post holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL. A professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required.

It is essential the post holder has knowledge of research funding bodies, processes and regulations within a Higher Education environment. The post holder should also have experience of project management of multi-stakeholder projects.
