This is an exciting opportunity for a Grants Officer to join a renowned business in the city of Oxford on a temporary to permanent basis.

**Client Details**

The client is an an established business with a global reach, great transport links and a supportive team based in the picturesque city of Oxford.

**Description**

The Grants Officer will:

- Oversee the financial administration of a significant and complex portfolio of research projects working closely with the Business Manager, Administrator, Project Managers, and grant holders (who remain accountable for managing their grants)
- Work with Research Accounts to prepare annual and final statements of expenditure, ensuring that expenditure is appropriately allocated to research projects, and monitored in line with budgets and in accordance with University policies and the funder termsand conditions
- Coordinate and collate data required for audits on research awards and liaise with Research Accounts on any audit queries, discussing with the Business Manager/Administrator where required
- Assist the Business Manager/Administrator in forecasting and re-forecasting grant expenditure for budgeting purposes

**Profile**

The Grants Officer will have:

- Knowledge of grants and/or contracts, preferably within the education sector
- A problem-solving attitude
- A high level of numeracy
- A high level of computer literacy
- Be immediately available
