Reed Accountancy & Finance, Lancaster & Cumbria are pleased to be working with a fascinating, family run business in the heart of the lakes to recruit a Finance Manager on a part time basis to work within their stunning office leading the finance functionsfor their portfolio of businesses.

Working with the senior management team and business owners the Finance Manager will maintain the smooth running of the Finance dept, lead positive change and efficiencies and offer finance expertise to the management team. The role is working part time24 - 30 hours per week

**Day to day duties of the role**
- Prepare Monthly Management Accounts pack with variance analysis, commentary on results and
- cash flow
- Year-End Accounts for submission to external Accountants
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of annual budget
- Quarterly VAT Return

**Skills required for success**
- A minimum of 5 years accounting experience is required
- Experience within a similar role
- Ideally Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) part qualified/QBE
- Highly skilled with MS Excel and preferably experience with Sage50
- Excellent communications skills
