Patient Pathway Coordinator

Our Medical Specialties Department are looking for an efficient, friendly **Patient Pathway Coordinator **to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that coordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolves around the patient and their individual needs.
Your role will be to provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area, including Consultants, Nurse Specialists and Junior Doctors, ensuring effective co-ordination of their diaries etc. this will include cancellation and reinstating of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave and ensuring a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times.
You will support the clinical team, Operational Manager and other Divisional managers in ensuring the specialty are able to deliver safe and effective services whilst also ensuring compliance with contractual access targets e.g., the 18 week outpatient target.
Good telephone communication skills are essential, especially dealing with patients, district nurses and outside agencies.
